Jerome LOL
Jerome Potter's talents first found a home within the electronic duo LOL Boys, a collaborative project sparked via an online message board with likeminded DJ/producer Markus Garcia. Around the sam time, Jerome also ignited a relationship with fellow LA resident Samo Sound Boy that developed into them starting the record label BODY HIGH, a preeminent platform for underground club music in America that's house releases from the likes of Todd Edwards, DJ Sliink, DJ Funeral and more.
In September of 2012, after multiple releases under the LOL Boys pseudonym - including the critically acclaimed 'Changes' EP - Jerome and Markus decided to go their separate ways birthing Jerome's solo enterprise, Jerome LOL.
Since the parting, Jerome LOL's touring and DIY releases have been essentially non-stop, debuting his innovative "One Day" music series as well as multiple remixes for the likes of Classixx, Tomas Barfod, D33J, and more. With all this under his belt, Jerome LOL is set to make his official debut on Friends of Friends with the four-track EP, "Deleted/Fool." The EP is a continuation of the dualities Jerome explored in his "One Day" series. He shows us how easily he can manipulate satisfaction into melancholy, evoking an array of emotions.
Since then Jerome has broken into the pop-music world under the outfit DJDS, with Samo Sound Boy. They produced on five songs from Kanye West's "The Life of Pablo" & on their latest album "Big Wave More Fire" features the likes of The-Dream, Vic Mensa, Khalid, & Charlie Wilson.

Jerome Potter and Markus Garcia are the viral force that is LOL Boys, the Los Angeles via Montreal duo readying their first release on the Friends of Friends label. From collaborating with Hot City, co-owning the Body High label, remixing the likes of Korallreven, Gold Panda, Para One and Salva, and receiving DJ support from Diplo, Brodinski, Shlohmo, and many others, LOL Boys bring their sample free 'Changes' EP, a breezy four tracker primed for the summer.
The title track opens the EP with prominent jazz influences, the glassy ride cymbal and standup bass providing a swinging rhythm that counteracts vocals from Heart Streets. "Mind's Clouded" follows with an off kilter, eerie tone, the bumbling drums and foggy synths creating an uncanny mystic. "Get Close To Me" picks up the tempo, a dancy single fitted with vocals from Angelina Lucero, while "Don't Want You" rounds out the EP on an atmospheric / ephemeral note.
The 'Changes' EP also includes remixes from Shlohmo and Anenon
