OUT NOW - 'Reverie' EP by Sweatson Klank

After dropping the critically acclaimed ambient album "Postcards" earlier this year, Sweatson Klank returns to the beats.  "Reverie" is a 5 track EP filled with his trademark laid back, feel good sound.  Head nodding beats, Lo-Fi textures & carefully orchestrated instruments all come together to take us on a timeless journey.

"Je Pense a Toi", a nod to his French origin, starts the EP off with a catchy Lo-Fi Hip Hop, Jazz feel. A stand up bassline walks us through the empty streets of Paris as a man plays an old piano from a cafe in the distance.

"We're All Dreaming" with its infectious hummed vocal melody conjuries up old soul over another stellar Lo-Fi hip hop track.

The 3rd track "Reminiscing"  is an ode to the 90's era golden age Hip Hop tracks which influenced that artist from an early age. Classic samples chopped over a rolling baseline & thick boom bap beat.

"Pay Day" with its funk boogie feel brings us that classic 80's rare groove sound, taking us back to a time when the likes of Funkadelic and Rick James ruled the dancefloor.

The record closes with "One for My Friends" , a lounge and jazz dance tune with a catchy vocal hook perfect for those sunset dancefloor moments in the Balearic islands.
