OUT NOW ‘Clausura’ EP by Jeune Oji

Clausura arrives as a natural sequel to Apertura. Meaning “closure” in Spanish, the word suggests a chapter ending, a door gently drawn shut, a page turning with quiet finality. If Apertura was about beginnings and discovery, Clausura lingers in memory - slowing into a state of self reflection.

The EP feels like a diary written in sound, each track carrying the hues of nostalgia - sometimes joyful, sometimes bittersweet, sometimes heavy with longing. Built from acoustic guitar, ukulele, voice, and other organic textures, the music feels transparent, almost bare, as if inviting listeners to witness the most intimate corners of the artist’s inner life.

Drawing on folk, post-rock, and electronic influences, Clausura is a soundtrack for everyday life, a companion to joy, melancholy, and quiet solitude alike. A record of closings and reckonings, it lingers like memory itself, echoing long after silence.
